Consultation

This stage of targeted consultation allowed us to consult you on a series of minor amendments to the development boundary area, compared to the boundary which we consulted on during our Stage Two consultation (Jan – Mar 2025), providing local communities and interested parties with the opportunity to share their views and feedback.

On Thursday 19 June 2025, we held an online information event. You can watch a recording of the webinar by clicking here and view the presentation slides by clicking here.

Copies of the consultation materials produced to inform this stage of consultation can be found here.

Targeted consultation - June 2025

This consultation has now closed.

We would like to thank everyone who took the time to participate and share their views with us.

The feedback received during Stage Two consultation and the targeted consultation is being carefully considered alongside ongoing design and environmental work. This will help shape the refined design for Lime Down Solar Park, which we will submit to the Planning Inspectorate (PINS) as part of our application for development consent.

Our application to PINS will include a Consultation Report summarising the issues raised along with an explanation of how we have taken views into account to develop our proposals as submitted.

We anticipate submitting our application in September 2025. After receiving our application, PINS has 28 days to decide whether to accept it so it can proceed to the examination stage. If accepted, PINS will publish all the application documents, including the Environmental Statement and Consultation Report, on its website.
